Chaitra Navaratri
The gorgeous photo on the right is from my most recent trip - where I was in the northern state of Uttarakhand in and amongst the beautiful Himalayan mountains.
We were in line at a goddess temple in honor of Chaitra Navratri when all of a sudden this beautiful group of women paraded in and created a circle of song and dance, celebrating the 9 nights of the goddess!
